The Faculty of Science at Alexandria University concluded the 13th Student Conference on Research & Innovation and the 6th Graduate Studies Conference, held under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University.

The conference featured outstanding student research through poster and oral presentations, alongside 118 innovative science projects presented by school students, highlighting the faculty's commitment to nurturing young scientific talent.

The event also included keynote lectures on quantum computing, artificial intelligence, leadership, and national values. At the closing ceremony, winners were honored with awards and prizes in recognition of their outstanding research and innovative projects.

 

 

 

Professor Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, congratulated Ahmed Walaa El-Din Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel Hamid, a Computer and Communications Engineering student at the Faculty of Engineering, on receiving a competitive scholarship to participate in the 4th UH2C International Summer School 2026, hosted by Hassan II University of Casablanca, Morocco, from 21–30 July 2026, after successfully passing the international selection process.

Held under the theme "Digital Transformation of Society & Ethics," the program brings together outstanding students from around the world for lectures, workshops, and hands-on projects in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovation.

Ahmed Walaa El-Din is the only Egyptian student participating in this edition of the program, representing Alexandria University and the Arab Republic of Egypt in an achievement that reflects the excellence and international competitiveness of Alexandria University students.

 

 

Professor Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, congratulated Nadine Tmeish, a Computer and Communications Engineering student at the Faculty of Engineering, on her selection to participate in the 2nd Mediterranean Futures: Addressing Global Challenges program, organized by the Arab Mediterranean Campus in Italy from 19–30 July 2026. Selected through a highly competitive process involving more than 500 applicants, Nadine was among only 50 participants chosen and is the sole representative of Egyptian universities and Alexandria University.

Hosted in Rome and Venice by LUISS University and Ca' Foscari University of Venice, the program prepares future leaders through lectures, workshops, and field visits focused on international affairs, intercultural dialogue, and global challenges, including visits to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNDP, and FAO.

 

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of its PharmD–Clinical Pharmacy program at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The ceremony honored 152 graduates who completed their bachelor's degree in 2024–2025 and their mandatory internship during the 2025–2026 academic year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to serve as ambassadors for Alexandria University through excellence in their professional careers.

Dr. Hanan El-Gewaily, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, highlighted the faculty's commitment to preparing highly qualified clinical pharmacists capable of competing in the local and international job market.

The event concluded with the recognition of outstanding graduates for their academic excellence, extracurricular achievements, and community service, followed by the graduation ceremony and commemorative photographs.
